Grasshopper Sweep 1 Not Working at Leonardo Wolfe blog

Grasshopper Sweep 1 Not Working. It fails to do sweep. the main point is: i am new to grasshopper and i am trying to create a parametric truss, but sweep1 is not working with my current. i am using grasshopper to build stadium. the section needs to be located at the start of the curve for ‘sweep1’ to work. I have a section cuve for stairs and have rail cuve. the solution i was suggested was this: Posted by hava napar on march 31, 2013 at 12:41pm in discussion. simple sweep1 not working. Create a sweep surface with one rail curve. Also make sure you have set a sufficiently small. sweep has a few quirks (like torsion!!!) but it helps to align your section(s) correctly in the first place, and use one rail. Offset your rail by a certain distance and perform a 2 rail sweep instead of a 1 rail sweep. I could have moved the section curve but didn’t want to lose its orientation at that.
